The OMIF Global Market Development – Music stream provides eligible music companies with investment to expand international market share and create high ROI export opportunities. 

Eligible applicants include Ontario-based record labels, music publishers, music management companies, and live music promoters/presenters.

Deadlines

In the 2026-27 program year, there will be two application intakes and deadlines.

Intake 1 Applications Open: Week of April 6, 2026

Deadline 1: Thursday, June 4, 2026, 5:00PM ET

For activities taking place between August 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027

Intake 2 Applications Open: Week of September 7, 2026

Deadline 2: Thursday, November 5, 2026, 5:00PM ET

For activities taking place between November 1, 2026 – July 31, 2027

Updated information and guidelines for the 2026-27 program year will be available when applications open in April 2026.
