The Roadmap to Creative Distribution
This report commissioned by the Documentary Organization of Canada, provides a practical guide for documentary filmmakers who would like to navigate self-distribution (also known as “creative distribution”). The study was informed by an online survey of documentary filmmakers, an extensive literature review, and targeted research interviews with filmmakers, service providers, and distribution consultants.
