Reframing Access: A Best Practices Guide on Disability Inclusion in Canada’s Screen Industry
The Disability Screen Office has developed a best practice guide on disability inclusion in Canada’s screen industry. The goal was to create a best practice guide designed to be accessible and intended for individuals who are working in the Canadian screen industry who are looking to create a more inclusive and accessible workplace. The guide outlines disability inclusive planning through the various stages of the film process, including outlining disability definitions, potential accommodations, and best practices that can be implemented to reduce barriers to create a more accessible production.
