Ontario Creates submitted the attached comments to the Department of Canadian Heritage’s consultation on the Implementation of Canada’s Policy on Audiovisual Treaty Coproduction. Ontario Creates supports the Policy’s goal of positioning Canada as an audiovisual coproduction partner of choice. The submission addressed all areas put forward in the Department’s consultation document with specific focus on certain elements of the model treaty, including proportionality, key positions, location and technical services and distribution requirements.
