The OMIF Music Industry Development (MID) stream invests in established music trade associations to deliver initiatives that strengthen Ontario’s music ecosystem, enhance its competitiveness, and support sustainable industry development. 

Eligible applicants include not-for-profit music industry trade associations and music service organizations.

Applications Open: Week of March 16, 2026

The OMIF Music Industry Development stream has a continuous application intake - applications may be submitted from program launch until Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET, or until all funds have been allocated.

Updated information and guidelines for the 2026-27 program year will be available when applications open in March 2026.
