Linear Content Stream
The IP Fund – Linear Content stream supports Development and Production phases for feature film (drama and documentary) and digital series.
DEADLINES

September 22, 2026 – 5:00 PM ET
FUNDING AVAILABLE
Successful applicants are eligible to receive a non-repayable contribution as follows:
Development
- Up to 50% of Ontario spend
- $5,000 – minimum request
- $25,000 – maximum request
Production - Feature Films
- Up to 10% of Ontario spend
- dramatic – $400,000 – maximum request
- documentary – $200,000 – maximum request
Production - Digital Series
- Up to 30% of Ontario Spend
- $200,000 – maximum request
*Digital Series projects with Ontario spend over $2M may be eligible for up to 10% of Ontario spend, max $400K. Please contact ipfund@ontariocreates.ca to discuss your project and business rationale.

Ontario Creates reserves the right to revise Guidelines and Application Forms. Please ensure that you have the current versions before preparing your documentation.

APPLICATION PROCESS
- Applications must be submitted via the Ontario Creates Online Application Portal (OAP).
- Applicants are strongly encouraged to start the application process well in advance of the deadline in case technical support is required.
- Prior to starting an application, your company’s corporate information must be registered with the OAP. If your company is not registered, visit https://apply.ontariocreates.ca and select “Register”. If your company is registered, the Ontario Creates IP Fund deadline will appear in your dashboard.
- To start an application, select “Start New Application” and follow the directions to access the application form.
- If you encounter problems setting up your company’s corporate information, email applyhelp@ontariocreates.ca for assistance. This email address can also be used for any technical questions about the OAP.
INFORMATION SESSIONS
We encourage interested applicants to attend an Information Session. Complete the online registration form by 5:00 pm ET on the day before to the Information Session.Linear Content Stream (feature film and digital series)
