OMDC International Financing Forum (iff)
Ontario Creates International Financing Forum (iff)
iff is Ontario Creates feature film co-financing event at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Selected international and Canadian producers are brought together with international sales agents, US distributors, agents, equity financiers and executive producers for brokered meetings and exclusive networking opportunities.
Now celebrating its 14th year, Ontario Creates iff has introduced hundreds of projects to the international marketplace with over 80 successfully financed to date. Canadian and international feature film producers are invited to apply to iff. Registration is free but competitive. Final selection is based on company track record, pitch package and suitability of projects.
Applicants must have, at minimum, one full producer credit on a theatrically released feature and one or two market-oriented projects in development that require international co-production or financing partners. Applicants with a full producer credit on a non-theatrically released film should contact the iff producer directly to enquire about eligibility. Please note: iff accepts non-English-language projects only with prior approval of iff producer.
Producers with only Executive Producer, Co-Producer and Associate Producer credits are not eligible.
Priority will be given to projects that have not premiered at other co-financing or co-production markets. We accept one project application per company.

"IFF gave us a market launch for our film, and because of it we got an offer from a sales company. The other, less tangible goal at these events, is to get face time with sales and distribution folks, make introductions, learn about their particular taste and interests, etc."

"IFF was very well organized and what I appreciate the most is that executives from big studios and companies participate and with interest listen about our projects."

"This was the first market outing for TIGRESS and it was a great opportunity to connect with so many sales agents and potential co-production partners in such a condensed period of time."
